As a sociology major, taking a sociology course it was important to take the intro class to get the wheels rolling. This past semester, I have really enjoyed opening my eyes and engaging into the curriculum as it was pertinent to me, as well as it was intriguing. We have covered socialization and how sociologist would perceive situations based on social influences that surround them. Interesting topics that were covered were social class and gender inequality, crime and deviance, and sociological advantages. I am glad I had the opportunity to take this class when I did because I thought my professor did a great job presenting the information and it was easy to learn and it allowed me to generate more of a passion for the subject. It was fascinating to explore more of the reality today. Sociological problems are someone of the largest problems within people and with dissecting the information it inspires me to learn more so I can do more.
