Course 2: Cultural Anthropology

In cultural anthropology, we explore the studies of human society and developments around the world. I had never even heard of such a subject before and I was intrigued to learn more about it. What I have learned in this class is the importance of cultural awareness and being transparent with other cultures. Through different types of approaches such as ethnography, participant observation, and interviews perceived by the researcher. I have enjoyed discovering new concepts such as cultural relativism, emic and etic research approaches and more. This course has opened my eyes to possibly minoring in this degree.
